Hello, my name is Nick Tague. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of working in the mortgage industry on both the servicing and origination sides, and have worked in the areas of finance/accounting, forecasting, business analysis, branch operations, secondary, recruiting, reporting, and more fitting to this column, process improvement.
I originally got my start in a small/medium origination shop out of Chicago just before the downturn of the markets. While there, I worked with nearly every department learning e industry and trying to get an understanding of how things operated and the manner in which they were being done. Today, I work for Fannie Mae as an analyst in a review and measurement division that analyses performance and helps to identify best practices among the country’s top servicers.
